LIGHTWORKS

I am accepting commissions for bespoke pieces in my LIGHTWORKS series - for a woven form that is created specifically for your space - your home - your light.

In some ways, you will be commissioning the unknown.

Once I begin to weave, I will be immersed in the experience of the moment - working at the edge of my knowledge - weaving with a commitment to the materials and processes - responding to what emerges.

There is a choice of fibre and palette and in the sequencing of the warp & weft, but after that, the materials & weave structure converge while I bring them into being on the loom - and the process, with its tensions & interactions - dictates the final shape of the woven piece.
